SPANISH SCHOOLS AND SPANISH COURSES
Learning Spanish in Don Quijote Schools:
Don Quijote offers you the opportunity to learn Spanish in one
of their 8 schools based around Spain and Latin America (Salamanca, Tenerife,
Madrid, Barcelona, Malaga, Seville, Granada and Guanajuato). The school was
founded in 1989 and since then has had more and more students attending every
year. In 2002 almost 12,000 students attended from 65 different countries. When
you enrol in a course, even if you are a complete beginner, you will speak
Spanish from the very first day. There are courses for all abilities and for
all needs. You can learn the basic language of Spanish or you can take
specialised Spanish such as medical Spanish, business Spanish, intensive
tourism Spanish. There are so many possibilities that Don Quijote has a
credible reputation and is backed by a number of educational groups such as;
EAQUALS, Instituto Cervantes, CEELE and the Madrid Chamber of Commerce. Don
Quijote is very recognised world wide for example the schools are mentioned in
Collins Dictionaries and the New York Times, CNN and other media outlets have
published articles featuring the school. That is just a few examples if you go
on to the website then you will find even more information about the
school.
Spanish Language Courses:
If you decide that you think that it is necessary for you to speak good Spanish
when you move to Spain you will find that there are many Spanish courses that
you can take and some of them are not as expensive as you might think. The best
way for you to learn is to get an intercambios (a friend who is Spanish or
speaks fluent Spanish) and meet with them regularly and spend half the time
with you practising your Spanish and then the other half of the time letting
them practise there English (if they want to learn the language). Language
classes are always a good idea for you to pick up the basics to get you
started. Almost all schools are taught by native Spanish speakers and they
really help you to build up your confidence. You just need to look around your
local area to see what schools are available and look at the schools to see
what they are like and if you think you will 'fit in' there. It is a good way
for you to make friends.
